"The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck" by Mark Manson
"Action-> Inspiration-> Motivation" - Mark Manson
Do you ever just wanna say, "fuck it"? The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck by Mark Manson will tell you how. Manson does a great job of telling the reader not to give a fuck, but also give a fuck at the same time.
The author effortlessly tells short stories about his life, and how he learned to not give a fuck. He explains his thought process in choosing the important things in life to care about, and what should be let go. It’s this process that is essential for the not-giving-a-fuck strategy to work.
Manson's writing style was so hilarious and easy to read that I almost finished the book in one sitting. His advice is backed up by his own experiences and the experiences of others. I found these examples to be exciting and insightful. I could relate to almost every example because he gave multiple instances to get his point across.
My favorite part of the book was when he was talking about how he started blogging. I found those examples to be very relatable. Since I am new to blogging myself, I found this section to be enlightening on my own process.
My least favorite part was the language. Sometimes what the author said was funny, but a little too blunt due to extreme language.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars. There were some great lines, but nothing made me say "wow" or "I need to talk about this", it was just a good book. I would read this other book "Everything Is Fucked", but I wouldn't buy it right away. I recommend this book to anyone that wants a different perspective of thinking.
