Sometimes when I am scrolling through Instagram, I can't help but feel like reading has become a competition. It's a race to see who can finish the most books in a month, or who can receive the most ARCs by the best publishers.
I also feel like its a competition to take the best photos and receive the most likes. When Instagram changes their algorithm, I can immediately tell because I don't get as much likes/ engagement on my photos.
But these thoughts and feelings don't last long. Sometimes I just got to remind myself that reading is not a competition. Reading is supposed to be an escape from reality, or whatever you want it to be!
